Freedom is Enough – Part 2
November 16, 2025
Paul’s message to the Galatians reveals the danger of religious legalism that tries to add requirements to our salvation. Christ has already secured our freedom through His death and resurrection, and we don’t need to earn or supplement it. Many Christians fall into the trap of trying to gain God’s approval through religious practices, like fleas that continue jumping at a lower height even after the lid is removed. Paul gives three essential instructions: stand firm in your freedom, guard against false teachings and counterfeit motives, and stand out as a witness through love and service. True Christian freedom means we’ve been set free from sin, not free to sin, and this should manifest in how we serve others and live distinctively in our daily environments.
