Stephen Watson

Stephen Watson

Associate Pastor for Students and Administration. Stephen is a graduate of The Ouachita Baptist University with a music education degree and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's' of Divinity, with a specialization in Christian Education. He and his wife, Danielle, have two daughters, Hallie and Harper.  With a passion for teaching and becoming a jack-of-all-trades (and master of none), Stephen has served in New Orleans, Kansas City, Texas and now the Memphis area as he searches the world for great BBQ! In his extra time, you can find Stephen enjoying and providing armchair play-by-play commentary and game management advice for whatever sport is in season.

Colt Landreth

Associate Pastor for Worship and Marion Arts Center Administrator since June 2014, Colt is a graduate of Williams Baptist College and recently graduated with a  Masters of Church Music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Toni Rae, have been married for 5 years and have two daughters, Charli Pepper and Penny Lou. He enjoys hunting for the next greatest vinyl for his collection and learning new instruments.

Shirley Forrest

Shirley Forrest

Minister to Children since 1999, Shirley is affectionately known as Mama Shirley. She oversees programs for children birth to fifth grade and enjoys spending time with the children of the church and the community. She is involved with the Tri-County Baptist Association and is a conference leader for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. She is married to David Forrest, no less well known as Papa David. They have two children Julie and Eric. Julie has followed in her mother's footsteps working with children in Little Rock, Arkansas. Eric is married to Colleen and has two daughters, Emma and Tiffany.

Allison Wadkins

Allison Wadkins

Minister to Middle School Students, Allison grew up and was called to ministry at First Baptist Church. She has a bachelor’s degree from Williams Baptist College and is currently attending Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a master’s degree in Missiology and Intercultural Studies. She is married to Bill Wadkins.

Marissa Selden

Marissa Selden

Preschool Director  since January 2015, Marissa has been apart of First Marion since elementary school.  Marissa is a recent graduate of The Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  Marissa loves the outdoors and a fine cup of coffee.  To keep Marissa happy, bring her something from Starbucks!

Mary Watkins

Ministry Assistant since January 2004, Mary is married to Mike, her husband of thirty one years, who is the church’s chairperson of Missions and Evangelism. They have two sons, Bradley and Nathan. She takes time to stop and smell the roses as she enjoys camping as well as reading and traveling.

Misty White

Misty White

LifeShapers Director since January 2004, Misty and her husband Daniel have been married for 12 years. They have two daughters: Josie, 10, and Sarah, 8. After moving to Marion in 2005 from Nashville, they joined the First Marion family. Misty has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Business from Arkansas Tech University and has been at LifeShapers since it opened in August of 2005.
