Dr. Clay Hallmark
Senior Pastor since May 2001, Clay was unanimously re-elected to a second term as President at the October 2010 Arkansas Baptist State Convention annual meeting. He is a conference leader, consultant for the FAITH Evangelism strategy, as well as an evangelist and speaker throughout the nation. He and his wife Leslie, have two daughters, Cassie and Kayla.
Minister to Children since 1999, Shirley is affectionately known as Mama Shirley. She oversees programs for children birth to fifth grade and enjoys spending time with the children of the church and the community. She is involved with the Tri-County Baptist Association and is a conference leader for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. She is married to David Forrest, no less well known as Papa David. They have two children Julie and Eric. Julie has followed in her mother's footsteps working with children in Little Rock, Arkansas. Eric is married to Colleen and has two daughters, Emma and Tiffany.
Minister to Middle School Students, Allison grew up and was called to ministry at First Baptist Church. She has a bachelor’s degree from Williams Baptist College and is currently attending Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a master’s degree in Missiology and Intercultural Studies.
Ministry Resource Manager since May 2012, Carries is married to Chad, her husband of ten years who serves in choir and in leading children’s worship. They have two sons, Bryce and Levi. She enjoys laughing with family and friends as well as reading and being outdoors.
Ministry Assistant since January 2004, Mary is married to Mike, her husband of thirty one years, who is the church’s chairperson of Missions and Evangelism. They have two sons, Bradley and Nathan. She takes time to stop and smell the roses as she enjoys camping as well as reading and traveling.
LifeShapers Director since January 2004, Misty and her husband Daniel have been married for 12 years. They have two daughters: Josie, 10, and Sarah, 8. After moving to Marion in 2005 from Nashville, they joined the First Marion family. Misty has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Business from Arkansas Tech University and has been at LifeShapers since it opened in August of 2005.
Building Maintenance Supervisor since September 2012, Gaylon is married to Deanna. They and their three children, Wesley, Joshua, and Kristin, have been members of First Marion since 2004. In his spare time, Gaylon enjoys hunting and camping.
Preschool Director, Kathleen serves on our staff part-time, and she and her husband Rick have been members since February 2004. Their daughter Samantha is currently in the seventh grade at Marion Middle School.
